Bow and stern thrusters are critical for Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessels, drillships, and commercial tonnage maneuvering in port. When a thruster suffers blade damage, gear failure, or seal leakage, waiting for dry dock is rarely an option.
We design and install custom tunnel blanks to create a dry working environment inside the thruster tunnel, or utilize specialized rigging and buoyancy bags to remove and replace entire azimuth or tunnel thruster units underwater.
