Stern seal wear or damage can lead to oil leakage or water ingress into the stern tube, threatening heavy environmental penalties and unscheduled off-hire.
Working alongside major seal manufacturers and our technical partners, we install bespoke inflatable or rigid dry habitats around the propeller shaft bossing. Once dewatered, technicians work in dry conditions to bond, vulcanize, or replace lip seals and spacer rings without the vessel entering dry dock.
