When internal shipboard valves, sea chests, transducer trunks, or shell plating require dry access below the waterline, our naval architects and fabrication teams design and build custom steel cofferdams contoured specifically to the vessel's lines plan.
Once rigged and sealed against the hull by divers, the internal space is dewatered—allowing class-approved dry welding, valve replacement, or structural modifications while the vessel continues cargo operations afloat.
